    Our Actuarial programmes are accredited by the institute and faculty of actuaries and many carry exemptions from professional examinations. Our Actuarial Science programmes (both BSc & MSc) are fully accredited for IFoA subjects CS1 and 2, CM1 and 2 and CB1 and 2.

    For the academic year 2020/21, Heriot-Watt University is introducing a new model of learning called ‘Responsive Blended Learning’ (RBL): RBL combines active, supported online learning with contextually appropriate face-to-face learning opportunities, responding dynamically to the changing external context. This approach enables students to proceed with their studies alongside their peers, whatever pandemic-related restrictions are lifted or imposed in specific contexts.
