We offer places in our Pensions Actuarial, Investment Consulting, DC & Financial Wellbeing, Insurance, and Analytics & Financial Modelling departments across our London and Winchester offices.
As a firm, the work we do involves assessing the risks associated with future events and advising clients on how much money they should set aside now to be able to cover uncertain payments in the future and how that money should be invested. Whichever specialist team you join, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of clients from FTSE100 and global companies to smaller private firms. There will also be plenty of opportunities for client contact, whether by emails, phone, or face-to-face at meetings or corporate events.

We have a dedicated social committee that works hard all year around to provide different social events for our staff, understanding that as well as our core role and benefits we also want to build a sociable and fun environment. This includes sports clubs, theatre trips, masterclasses such as cooking lessons and jewellery making and day trips out. We have an annual party where both the Winchester and London office come together to celebrate everyone’s hard work. We also understand that as a firm we have a wider social responsibility and have a volunteer policy in place so that individuals can take one day a year to share their skills through volunteering. Alongside this we have a corporate responsibility group, which promotes fundraising events and raises awareness on what we can do as a business and as individuals to build a more sustainable future.
The strength of our people has resulted in a host of industry awards in recent years. In 2019 alone we have won seven awards including “Consultant of the Year” awards in Pensions Actuarial, Investment, Pensions De-risking and Employee Benefits; 20 years of Excellence in Defined Contribution; and an award for Diversity and Inclusion Excellence.
Training and development
We have an extensive programme of in-house training. Regular training sessions are held throughout the first three years, covering every aspect of the business. Staff at all levels receive training to keep their technical knowledge up to date and to develop their managerial and presentation skills further. LCP also provides comprehensive support for the professional exams and we have an excellent track record of students qualifying quickly.
We welcome graduates from a wide range of disciplines. We are looking for at least a 2.1 honours degree (or equivalent) and an A grade in A-level mathematics (or equivalent). Ideally, applicants would also have A-level grades in other subjects equating to a total of 128 UCAS points.
