The risk modelling and consulting practice (RMC) is our newest practice bringing togetherkey risk modelling skills across the business and driving our diversification into new areas. The practice comprises of around 85 employees and is pivotal in providing innovative and market leading risk management solutions to our clients, as well as helping provide analytics and insights for the rest of the business.
As a Trainee Risk Modelling consultant you may be involved in a range of work including:

  • Identifying and helping develop models that either provide clients with solutions or support our internal systems that are used across the firm
  • Helping clients understand the risks they face, for example longevity and financial risks, and researching and developing strategies to manage this
  • Proactively researching new ideas and thinking creatively to develop solutions to meet our clients’ needs
  • Consulting with key stakeholders, both within the business and with client

Our trainee consultants will get the opportunity to work on a real variety of projects and apply traditionalactuarial techniques to lots of different business situations, working alongside leading life insurers, banks and other organisations.
