At Standard Life Aberdeen, we all have a part to play and a story to contribute to. It’s a story of helping to build a more prosperous world and that includes yours. We believe in integrity, innovation and ambition.
Our ethos is uncompromising– we do the right thing for our customers and clients. It’s in our DNA. Working together for the right reasons we can achieve great things; for you, for our customers, for the business, and for society as a whole.
Our summer internship is all about making the most of your opportunities. It has been carefully put together to challenge you, but at the same time offer all the support you need at the start of your career. As well as hands on experience you will have access to development events, a buddy to support you during the programme and beyond and a placement manager to provide structured feedback.
We have a passion for technology. Especially the ways we can use it to help improve our customers’ lives. It is this passion that drives us forward. On the Technology and Change 10 week internship you could be working on a variety of projects: from analysing and understanding customer needs and managing large-scale change projects to helping launch new technologies like cloud and other leading edge solutions.
You will be part of our group wide graduate community with lots of opportunities to network, build your contacts and grow your understanding of our business.
We are looking for people who share our passion for technology. You will need to have a strong analytical mind, using your skills to generate creative ideas.
Above all, you want to help make life easier for your customers.
Many of our interns are offered a role on our graduate programme the following year. You will get a competitive reward package and support towards accommodation in Edinburgh – right in the middle of the Edinburgh Festivals.
We value diversity in our workforce and welcome enquiries from everyone
