Public Sector Actuarial Consultant sought for a market leading Consultancy. Our client is seeking a Qualified Actuary to join their Publix Sector Consulting team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Actuary to join a market leading Consultancy as a Public Sector Actuarial Consultant, primarily focusing on Local Government Pension Schemes.
This role can be based out of several offices and includes flexible working options going forward.
Responsibilities of the Public Sector Actuarial Consultant:
- Client management, including managing the allocation and completion of work for clients
- Checking member/employer calculations produced by junior colleagues
- Assisting with new business pitches
- Proposing valuation assumptions and discussing with internal and external stakeholders
Key Experience of the Public Sector Actuarial Consultant:
- Qualified Actuary
- DB Pensions experience
- Public Sector experience would be ideal but is not essential
- Strong communication skills
