An exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong technical actuarial background and relevant experience to join the Corporate Actuarial team as a Manager, focusing on Funded Savings & Retirement (S&R) business.
Overview
Key duties (including, but not limited to):
- As part of this role, you will work with other functions and work with other Corporate Actuarial teams across the Company
- Similarly, you will work closely with the S&R Line of Business team, contributing to the Company’s success in what is a growing and dynamic marketplace
- Manage the quarterly reporting process for US GAAP, BMA, US STAT, Economic Capital
- Support in the attribution and explanation of results
- Support AVP, Corporate Actuarial with development of reporting processes within selected global markets
Qualifications required:
- Qualified actuary with minimum of 5 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance
Experience required:
- Experience of working with assets, ideally in a reporting function
- Strong understanding of actuarial valuation principles and processes, knowledge and experience of actuarial control cycle is a plus.
