GAD is responsible for the provision of actuarial advice to the UK Government and a range of public service departments regarding their pension provisions and risk management. GAD operates with a number of internal teams with responsibility for specific areas of advice.
As a Junior Trainee Actuary you will provide support to your team / GAD, in the production of client advice, providing accurate, high quality and timely actuarial and specialist analysis, advice and assistance.
Junior Trainee Actuaries may be employed within any of following teams and would be expected to rotate through various teams during their career:
Specialist Actuarial (Advice to Government, Staff Transfers and Funded Pension Schemes)
Insurance & Investment
Public Sector Pension Schemes
Actuarial Services

Qualifications

First or high 2:1 honours degree in a subject with high mathematical content plus an A level in mathematics at grade A (or equivalent)
