GAD is responsible for the provision of actuarial advice to the UK Government and a range of public service departments regarding their pension provisions and risk management. GAD operates with a number of internal teams with responsibility for specific areas of advice.
As a Junior Actuarial Technician you will provide support to your team / GAD, in the production of client advice, providing accurate, high quality and timely actuarial and specialist analysis, advice and assistance.
Junior Actuarial Technicians may be employed within any of following teams and would be expected to rotate through various teams during their career:
Specialist Actuarial (Advice to Government, Staff Transfers and Funded Pension Schemes)
Insurance & Investment
Public Sector Pension Schemes
Actuarial Services

High level of general education; A level Mathematics at grade B or above
