Key Outcomes

  • Carry out research into Companies, assessing their performance and profitability on a comparative basis.
  • Formulate and share investment recommendations to other members of the team
  • Meet with Companies and subsequently write reports capturing key data identified
  • Meet with Clients in order to articulate the Standard Life Investments’ investment strategy
  • Completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst exams (CFA)
  • Will work effectively in a flat management structure and be able to communicate and participate with colleagues to share information
  • Can work effectively with a mentor and coach in order to improve technical and personal development

 Qualifications

 Key Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

  • A strong education background

  • A minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline

  • An interest in the investment industry

  • Numerate

  • Analytical

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Initiative and strength of conviction in decision making
