About the area you’ll be working in…

The Reporting Actuary is a key role in Bupa’s Group Actuarial team. Based in our London office (3-4 days work from home), you will support our Group Actuarial Director and engage with a variety of teams across Bupa Group. This role will be a great stepping stone to future opportunities at Bupa.

What you’ll be doing…

Deliver Technical Provisions for Group reporting (IFRS & Solvency 2), adhering to deadlines

Drive continuous improvement in reserving models

Actuarial analysis for Board and Executive to support quarterly reporting deliverables

Provide actuarial advice and guidance for commercial decisions

Liaise and work closely with Bupa Group Finance and other actuarial teams

Ensure tools (e.g. IFRS17 Risk Adjustment Calculator) are properly controlled

Who we’re looking for?

  • Qualified Actuary (IFoA, FIA)
  • Group Reporting experience
  • IFRS17 (ideally) and Solvency 2 knowledge
  • Strong modelling experience
  • Proactive mindset, ability to work independently
  • Ambition and drive!
