Aon’s Talent, Rewards & Performance practice (TRP) is all about people. TRP drives business performance by advising companies on how to improve their people performance – how they shape their organisations, shape their culture and leadership, and how they recruit and reward staff. We help them with questions such as “do we have the right people in place to achieve our business strategy? What do the best performers in the market do to hire, retain and motive key staff?”
The Talent team’s work in assessment, selection and employee engagement, the Rewards team’s work in designing competitive pay programmes and the Performance team’s benchmarking of an organisation’s operational, financial and customer performance ensure that TRP’s clients have the support they need to answer these questions.
The strength behind TRP’s advice is the combination of experienced consultants and a strong foundation of data and analytics. All of our work centres around delivering business insight to our clients, which is underpinned by comprehensive data and rigorous analysis.
The TRP business works with clients in all sectors and, often, across multiple countries.

The role

Whether you choose to specialise in employee engagement, reward, executive remuneration, or data analytics you will be working with some of the UK’s and Europe’s leading employers, helping to shape and guide their people strategies and often helping them to implement global as well as local initiatives.
This could take your career in many directions. For example, we often advise clients at times of corporate change, including company divestments, re-financings and IPOs. We even have a practice dedicated to carrying out market research with the customers of the businesses we help, so that they can better understand what kind of professional talent they need to meet their customer needs.
A career in Talent, Rewards and Performance offers a breadth of opportunity to learn how managing performance, remuneration and talent is at the heart of managing businesses.

Training and development

Your learning and development will be fast-paced and hands-on to give you the necessary technical knowledge and client management skills, with the opportunity to develop client relationships early on in your career.
You will also have the option to undertake professional study (e.g. IMC, CFA, CIPD, World at Work) in due course.

Requirements

To join us, you will need a 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline, commercial awareness, numeracy, strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, plus enthusiasm, creativity and ambition.
