At Milliman, on-the-job training is given to develop your career progression and skill set. This is through a combination of internal courses, informal workshops and exposure to a wide range of client projects. In particular, early client contact and responsibility allows you to broaden your overall business awareness whilst learning to effectively manage your time and the client’s expectations. An appraisal system is in place to give you the opportunity to discuss and review your career objectives to meet the challenges of consulting actuarial work.
In addition, we provide substantial support to aid your qualification. This includes tuition costs, examination fees, membership costs of professional bodies together with private study leave. Each graduate is assigned a qualified mentor to guide them through this process as well as offer encouragement and support.
We are offering students the opportunity to gain experience in both our life and general insurance practices. We are looking to recruit 5 graduates to Milliman UK’s practice. A strong academic record with a good degree in a numerical discipline is required. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
