Our client, a growing Life Insurer who has recently entered the BPA market, is looking for a Pricing Lead to join their growing BPA Pricing function. This role would suit someone at the Nearly/Newly Qualified level or perhaps someone with relevant experience who has stopped studying.

This growing BPA team have ambitious plans to make a mark within the Risk Transfer market and have had initial success pricing several transactions.

As this Pricing team continues to grow there are excellent opportunities for this individual to develop their career and take on more responsibilities.

Responsibilities of the BPA Pricing Lead:

  • Conducting BPA Pricing
  • Checking the preparation and analysis of DB Pension scheme data for Pricing
  • Utilising valuation systems to check the modelling of DB Pension Scheme cashflows
  • Undertake experience investigations for factors impacting pricing assumptions
  • Supporting / mentoring junior colleagues

Skills/Experience Required for the BPA Pricing Lead:

  • Nearly/Newly Qualified level or stop-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior DB Pensions Consulting experience or BPA experience from a Life Insurance/Reinsurance role
  • Strong communication skills
