Valuation Actuary sought for a Global Re-Insurer within their Valuations team within Corporate Actuarial in Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nearly Qualified Actuary to join a Global Re-Insurer in a high performaing team as a Valuation Actuary.
This client is going through a period of change, with multiple projects ongoing and scheduled to improve processes, efficiencies and productivity, and this team plays a key role in this process. The Valuation Actuary will be at the forefront of the projects aligned with the clients goals.
Responsibilities of the Valuation Actuary:
- Produce quarterly Actuarial valuations across UKGAAP, IFRS, HGB and Solvency II
- Prepare and run RAFM models
- Test and implement changes to the valuation system, and challenge current processes
- Help deliver Corporate Actuarial and wider company projects
Key Experience of the Valuation Actuary:
- Nearly Qualified Actuary
- Life Insurance, Reinsurance or Consulting background
- Valuation experience would be highly beneficial
- Strong communication skills
