A Quant or Quant Actuary Business Partner role has arisen at a life insurer with a business partnering focus, which will work with the wider users of an asset model which you will take ownership for. The insurer has a highly complex balance sheet with asset classes included derivatives and illiquid assets. They are looking for someone with strong asset valuation skills and capable of both developing code. A crucially part of this role will be training others in the business to utilise this asset modelling tool whilst facing off with senior stakeholders in the business to help them to make decisions.

This would either suit a Quant with strong asset knowledge, or an Actuary with an ALM background seeking a high-profile role at a prestigious insurer.
