In-House pensions actuary – Manchester or Birmingham!

I am recruiting for two new opportunities to move in-house, as a Pensions Risk Manager (nearly/newly qualified) or a Senior Associate (3 yrs+ experience, with or without actuarial exams).

This is an excellent experience to significantly broaden your pensions knowledge and experience by working directly for one of the largest pension funds in the UK. You’ll gain first-hand experience of a whole host of new pensions challenges, you’ll work with a diverse team of people from actuarial and non-actuarial backgrounds, as well as gaining a more complete understanding of the impact of a pension on a large business. You’ll also enjoy trading the hours of consulting for a 9-5 lifestyle, flexible working and the opportunity to do something genuinely different without having to relocate to London!

Candidates will have prior experience in the UK DB pensions market, and those who have stopped or never taken the actuarial exams will also happily be considered.
