A leading life insurer in London are seeking to hire an Actuarial Systems Developer for a prominent role within their actuarial modelling team.

This role would offer the individual the opportunity to work in a forward thinking environment with colleagues and model users who are quick to embrace change and process improvements, and where many sophisticated approaches to solving problems are taken.

You would aid the business by project managing new and regular releases of the systems by helping across all stages of the development cycle. This would include initially identifying and subsequently developing solutions, testing developments and ultimately communicating any financial impacts to stakeholders and being involved in the transfer of these solutions into BAU.

This role would support a wide range of the actuaries across the business covering Valuations, Capital teams, and the wider Actuarial team in ad-hoc or business projects.

You would ideally have done some development work in any actuarial system before (Prophet, Mo.Net, Tyche, RAFM) and you will have strong programming skills (ie C++, Python, R, Matlab, etc)
