Actuaries are analytical and strategic and phenomenal problem-solvers. So if you’ve the promise, the potential, we’ll do the rest and help you develop a rewarding career in this fascinating area.
You’ll rotate within a number of different business areas, including Pricing, Reserving, Capital Modelling and Business Finance, adding value as you go and gaining an incredible insight into the role of an actuary. If you’re hungry for it, if you’ve the potential and drive to make it happen, you’ll have the chance to head off on an international assignment with another AXA global company. As well as practical on-the-job training, there’s formal study. We’ll support you to become a fully qualified actuary.

Who should apply?

You’ll need a head for figures, that’s for definite. So we’d like you to have an A grade at A-level Maths (or an equivalent qualification), as well as a 2:1 in a Maths or another highly numerical degree. And because of this background, it goes without saying that you’re analytical and methodical. Potential’s massively important. We don’t expect you to know everything about economic and statistical modelling just yet. But we do expect you to be a quick and keen learner, ready to make the most of the opportunities that will come your way. And rest assured, they will come your way – here in the UK and overseas.
