Overview
Responsibilities:
- Develop frameworks and policies which incorporate our capital strategy, risk appetite and strategic aims
- Work alongside colleagues in other entities to integrate all areas capital management
- Provide thought leadership and analysis to support the development of methodologies e.g. ALM strategies, SAA setting, economic risk measurement
- Perform business unit strategic reviews to determine the optimal asset strategy / returns that ensures all obligations are met whilst maximising contribution to shareholder value
- Provide leading role in capital management initiatives within business units, from the perspective of Group Finance, in particular ensuring appropriate Group governance
Qualifications required:
- PQE actuary or equivalent qualification with finance/investment/mathematics focus
Experience required:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to win commitment from others
- Excellent business writing and minute taking skills
- Strong attention to detail
