Responsibilities:

• Contribute to basis development work for longevity and protection lines of business
• Assist in the performance of the annual experience analysis exercise of the inforce book of business
• Maintenance of R&D tools and systems
• Other R&D projects as required in the business

Experience:

• Making good progress with the actuarial exams
• Interest in programming and comfortable with or willing to learn software packages, such as Tableau, SQL (or comparable database language) and R
• Problem solving skills
• Organised and deadline focussed
• Commercial awareness
• Business report writing skills
