Support the development and maintenance of the Biometric Research Team central bases and assumptions

Overview

Key duties (including, but not limited to):

  • Identify and analyse relevant data (including ‘non-traditional’ data attributes as well as experience analyses of the in-force portfolio)
  • Conduct research into factors affecting biometric and behavioural risks undertaken by HRUK
  • Quantify the impact of emerging risks in relation to central bases and develop and implement solutions to mitigate these emerging risks
  • Support the implementation of their Branch Data Strategy, improving access to and use of data, efficient data management and identify improvements to data analytics techniques

Qualifications required:

  • Nearly or newly qualified Actuary or statistician with 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience required:

  • (Re)Insurance industry experience
  • Experience of actuarial and data analysis techniques to analyse biometric data
  • Experience in setting demographic assumptions
