Responsibilities:
- Provision of quantified results from profit testing work or capital assessments will form part of the team input into development projects
- Oversee the production of pricing management information
- Manage the development and testing of tools and models for use by the Retail Pricing team and others; ensuring the models follow the latest agreed Group Pricing methodology and metrics
- Provide secretarial support to the Retail Pricing Committee meetings, ensuring papers and minutes are distributed in a timely fashion and actions are appropriately managed
- Support processes which help in managing the company’s insurance risks
- Manage the operational activity of the Retail Pricing team including manual calculations and technical customer queries
Experience required:
- A background in pricing and/or project work relating to new product development in the life/health insurance industry
- Excellent communication skills – able to communicate technical issues to senior people, including non-actuaries
- Strong knowledge of the Company’s products and pricing systems
