Director, Pensions Actuarial Practice

Location: UK-wide, hybrid

Salary: Over 6-figures, plus equity

Following a sustained growth period, I am hiring a Director role to add to the continued success of a leading Pensions consultancy. This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Pension Actuarial leader to impact the strategic direction of the business.

The role:

• Drive new business development through winning clients, tender submissions, and leading pitches. Also, leveraging existing networks internally and using your own network
• Advise on the complexities of new clients’ issues, as well as winning the business
• Work across multiple business lines in delivering consultative advice
• Can be involved in proposition development, and mentoring/ leading people internally
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the business as a whole, and support your local office

The individual:

• FIA
• 10-15+ years of experience gained at a EBC
• Experience leading clients and building relationships
• Commercial acumen
• Trustee and/ or Corporate focused

Ideal extra skills:

• Scheme actuary cert
• Experience working on schemes >£1bn (as lead or second support)

Part-time/ reduced hours can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
